Angry Facebook Post Blames London Riots on All Around Soft Discipline

Disclaimer: I wish this were an Onion article, I really do, but it isn't. This is a sad, sad truth.

Circulating around Facebook is a new "copy and paste if you agree" statement about who in fact is to blame for the riots begun in Tottenham, London, England on Thursday, August 4. This post blames numerous people, but only one factor: soft discipline. According to this post, not enough smackdown on immigration, teachers bullying students, or violence against children and far too many children's rights are to blame for this catastrophe.

Speckled with far too many ellipses, this somewhat ominous post affirms their opinion that Britain is getting its dues for not kicking their youth when they were still young enough to kick, while at the same time morning for a lost generation. Lost to what? Lost to involving themselves in the riots and to living a soft lifestyle.

Disregarding any other factors - like the fact that 1 in 5 Britain's in their twenties don't have a job, or any racial tensions inherent in the police system - this post is uniquely harsh and begs the question: how does the mother that posted this treat her children?

RIP Broken Britain.. You went soft on discipline!.. You went soft on immigration! You went soft on crime.. Parents were told.. 'No you can't smack the kids'....Teachers were prevented from chastising kids in schools.. The police couldn't clip a troublemaker round the ear.. Kids had rights blah blah blah.. Well done Britain.. You shall reap what you sow.. We have lost a whole generation!! Copy & paste if you agree
